Terms and conditions for cabin, suite, room, camping and activities reservations

How to book

Please read the following information carefully, it will help you to make your reservation at Cascada de las Animas easily and smoothly. If you have any questions regarding our reservation policies, please send us an email or call us, we will be happy to help you (our staff speaks English and Spanish).

Reservation policies:

1. The cabins, suites and rooms are rented to the first person who requires them, giving priority to those who request them for several nights. Our lodging services are in high demand and are often quoted weeks or even months in advance (especially for weekends and holidays) so we ask that you make your reservation as soon as possible to ensure availability.

2. To confirm your reservation of lodging, camping or activities you must pay 100% of the value of your pre-reservation, guarantee that is charged to your credit card 10 days before your arrival or if you make your reservation with less days will be charged immediately, if you are in Chile, you can make a deposit or transfer to our bank account. To do this we will send you the necessary information in our pre-reservation letter via e-mail.

3. Once we receive the proof of payment requested for the guarantee, we will proceed to confirm the reservation with the booking confirmation email, pre-bookings can be canceled without prior notice as long as we do not receive an email with the corresponding payment confirmation. Any unconfirmed reservation will be discarded 24 hours after it was taken. Once discarded, your space may be taken by another reservation.

4. Once we have received and verified proof of payment of the guarantee, we will send you a reservation confirmation email. The reservation will not be complete until you receive this confirmation.

5. Any cancellation of a previously confirmed reservation must be made in writing via email. The cancellation only becomes effective upon receipt of the written document.

Please complete our Reservation Form. For this you will need an email address and a credit card. We accept all international credit cards for our online reservations. For the protection of your data, in our Reservation Form we use a high security format that cannot be altered by third parties. To confirm you must pay 100% of the value of your pre-reservation, guarantee that is charged to your credit card 10 days before your arrival or if you make your reservation with less days will be charged immediately, if the reservation is for the same day will be charged immediately or the next day first thing in the morning.

Credit card payment

Guests who wish to pay by credit card can generate an account that will allow them to pay for all their consumption at the end of their stay.

We accept debit and credit card payments.

Reservations that include transportation can be shared with others.

Cascada de las Animas is not responsible for delays or impediments in transportation caused by force majeure problems beyond the control of our Center, such as strikes, road closures, delay or cancellation of sailings or flights, natural disasters, etc. Any additional expenses incurred by passengers in transit to/from Cascada de las Ánimas due to such circumstances shall be borne by the passenger. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Cascada de las Ánimas will make every effort to support passengers in such circumstances.

Cascada de las Animas reserves the right to modify or eliminate parts of the itinerary of a confirmed reservation, if necessary to ensure the well-being and protection of the passengers and/or its staff.

The passenger, during his/her stay, is responsible for complying with the internal operating rules of the lodging where he/she is staying.

2. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS OF RESERVATIONS for natural persons

Cancellation and date change policy for confirmed reservations:

Condition of Cancellations for confirmed reservations

1.- If we receive written notification of cancellation of your confirmed reservation 15 or more days in advance, your deposit will be refunded minus 10% of the total reservation (not the deposit).

2.- If we receive written notification of cancellation of your confirmed reservation up to 7 days before, your deposit will be refunded minus 20% of the total amount of the reservation (not the deposit).

3.- If we receive written notification of cancellation of your confirmed reservation less than 7 days in advance, there will be no refund of your deposit.

Condition Change of dates for confirmed reservations 

1.- Any change of date more than 15 or more days in advance is free of charge.

2.- Any change of date from 14 to 4 days in advance has a 10% surcharge on the total amount of the reservation.

3.- Any change of date 3 days or less in advance will be subject to a 50% surcharge on the total amount of the reservation.

* Only one change of date is allowed and the surcharge must be paid within 24 hours after the new date is chosen.

* If after a change of date the reservation is cancelled, the conditions of the first request regarding dates will apply.

 

3. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS OF RESERVATIONS for companies

Cancellation and date change policy for confirmed reservations:

Condition of Cancellations for confirmed reservations

1.- If we receive written notification of cancellation of your confirmed reservation 30 or more days in advance, your deposit will be refunded minus 15% of the total reservation (not the deposit).

2.- If we receive written notification of cancellation of your confirmed reservation up to 15 days before, your deposit will be refunded minus 30% of the total reservation (not the deposit).

3.- If we receive written notification of cancellation of your confirmed reservation less than 10 days in advance, there will be no refund of your deposit.

Condition Change of dates for confirmed reservations *.

1.- Any change of date more than 30 or more days in advance is free of charge.

2.- Any change of date from 29 to 11 days in advance has a 15% surcharge on the total amount of the reservation.

3.- Any change of date from 10 to 3 days in advance will be subject to a 50% surcharge on the total amount of the reservation.

4.- Any change of date less than 3 days in advance will be subject to an 80% surcharge on the total amount of the reservation.

* Only one change of date is allowed and the surcharge must be paid within 24 hours after the new date is chosen.

* If after a change of date the reservation is cancelled, the conditions of the first request regarding dates will apply.

Regarding RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS:

* A reservation will be considered No-Show if the client has not checked in at the reception desk of Cascada de las Ánimas by 12:00 a.m. on the day following the day of arrival according to the confirmed reservation. In this case the cabin, dome, suite or room will be left at the disposal of the center and no refunds will be made.

* No-Show activities will be considered as a No-Show if there is a no-show on the scheduled day and time; therefore, there is no refund or rescheduling.

* If withdrawn before the reserved date, no refund will be made and cannot be rescheduled for a new date.

* In the event that Cascada de las Ánimas has granted additional services to a passenger and he/she has withdrawn without paying them or paying only partially, Cascada de las Ánimas reserves the right to charge the credit card left as a guarantee for the balance due, without the need for prior authorization from the client.

*The conditions of payment, reservation, changes and cancellations may vary in some promotions, informing the specific conditions only in force for such campaign.

*All reservations are nominative and are made in the name of the applicant and are therefore non-transferable and indivisible.

*Cancellation or modification policies apply equally if booking less than 7 and 3 days in advance respectively or for the same day.

II RESTRICTIONS AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES

- Check-in time is from 15:00 hrs. and check-out time is until 12:00 hrs.

- Any check-out after 12:00 hrs. will be charged as an additional night's stay for the respective accommodation.

- In each cabin, dome, suite or room, only the number of passengers established in the internal regulations of the respective lodging may be accommodated.

- Suites Borde Rio, Suites Lodge Premium and Suites Lodge Terraza are for adults only.

- Pets of any kind are not allowed in Cascada de las Ánimas. The only exception is for support dogs for the visually impaired and whose entry permit must be submitted in advance to the Reservations staff.

- In consideration of the Chilean Tobacco Law No. 20.660 and our internal policy of sustainability, Cascada de las Animas does not allow smoking inside any of its facilities, be they lodging or otherwise. If a person is caught smoking, he/she will be fined 2 Unidades Tributarias Mensuales.

III CONDITIONS FOR MINORS

1. DEFINITIONS

- INFANTS: Children between 0 and 2 years old.

- CHILDREN: Children between 3 and 12 years old.

- ADOLESCENTS: Minors between 13 and 17 years of age.

- ADULTS: Over 18 years old.

2. DIFFERENTIATED PRICES AND CONDITIONS

- INFANTS

They are exempt from payment, as long as they share the bed or room with the accompanying adult(s), in those rooms where the capacity allows it (see next section).

All infants must share a room with an adult, unless it is a special interconnected room.

- ADOLESCENTS AND CHILDREN

For all accommodations and services they pay the same rate as an adult.

IV CAPACITY OF CABINS, SUITES AND ROOMS

1.- CABINS

  • 3 pax, 1 double bed and 1 single bed
  • 5 pax, 1 double bed and 3 single beds
  • 8 pax, 2 double beds and 4 single beds

2.- SUITES for adults only

  • 2 Pax, can be one king bed or two single beds

3.- ROOMS

  • 2 pax resort, 1 double bed
  • 4 pax resort, 1 double bed and 2 single beds

4.- DOMOS LOFT

  • 5 pax, 1 double bed and 3 single beds
