Rafting - Upper Maipo River Section

The descent begins at Cascada de las Ánimas, where participants receive the necessary equipment for the activity (water suit, life jacket and helmet), as well as instructions on how to maneuver the rafts and safety instructions from the guide.

Then we are ready for this exciting descent, in which we will travel approximately 16 kilometers downstream for about an hour, passing through narrow stone canyons, sandy beaches, large rocks and cultivated land, among other mountain range landscapes. Once we arrive at the town of San José, we will take a vehicle that will take us back to Cascada de las Ánimas, where showers will be available.

For the people who decide to spend the rest of the day in our Sanctuary we have arranged wide and shaded picnic places, with tables, barbecues and spring water, besides being able to enjoy the rest of our facilities.
