Camping & Picnic Area
Cascada de las Ánimas is a nature sanctuary just steps away from Santiago, located on the banks of the Maipo River between mountains and forests, in the beautiful valley of Cajón del Maipo. With more than 3,600 hectares of mountain ranges, valleys and slopes, we are the ideal place for families, friends and couples looking to disconnect from their routine, enjoy the outdoors, participate in different outdoor activities and interact with the typical flora and fauna of the foothills.
Our camping area is located in a charming forest of native and introduced trees. We offer roofed sites, totally independent from each other, and equipped with barbecues, tables, electrical connection, spring water and bathrooms with hot showers.
For those camping at Cascada de las Ánimas, we invite you to an entertaining hike that can be enjoyed by everyone, including children. It lasts approximately one hour and reaches the waterfalls that inspire our name. You can also use the game room, open daily from 6 pm.
